Listen up Fdub99.9 fans!! Here at Fdub 99.9, we fully support our troops and want to help out the victims of the recent Fort Hood shooting. Fdub is holding a benefit concert and auction for the victims and the victim’s families November 28. We will have several top notch artists performing at Nokia Theater in Grand Prairie where 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the cause. Knowing that such an attack took place so close to home soil, we want everyone not just Fort Hood but all military personal in the country to know that the Metroplex of north Texas is thankful for their contribution to keep this country free. Tickets will start selling next Friday and ticket prices will range anywhere from $25-$100. The artists are going to perform a concert and then there will be a 20 minute intermission. After the 20 minute intermission, there will be a plethora of celebrity signed objects that the public will be able to place a bid. We are counting on our listeners (this means you) to come to our charity event to show our support for the loved ones lost at Fort Hood. This event we hope to bring everyone closer by expressing ourselves through music while giving to a great cause. We hope to see you there!
